About Chicer Collegiate

CHIC [sheek]
adjective: chicer, chicest

  1. Attractive and fashionable; stylish
    noun:

  2. Style and elegance, especially in dress

Chicer Collegiate was founded by Morehouse College graduate Anthony L. Moultry II, Class of ’97. Inspired by the timeless elegance found in HBCU yearbooks from the 1950s and ’60s, many featuring members of his own family, Anthony set out to revive and reimagine that era’s distinctive style.

During that time, male students were often seen in slacks, button-down shirts, and ties, while female students exuded grace in long skirts, heels, and scarves. This quiet sophistication is the heartbeat of the Chicer Collegiate aesthetic.

Our brand proudly began with a collegiate apparel license from Morehouse College, soon followed by Clark Atlanta University and Spelman College. Today, Chicer Collegiate continues to grow, offering elevated apparel and accessories that celebrate the legacy, pride, and excellence of HBCUs and other distinguished institutions.

We aim to craft styles that allow you to rep your school with pride and polish. And if your alma mater isn't represented yet, stay tuned, we hope to include your campus in the near future.
